In recognition of her distinctive approach to art, Shelle was honored as a Montana Treasured Artist in 2013. Furthering her impact in the art community, Shelle was chosen as an Artist in Residence at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, WA.

Shelle developed a love for the natural world and its many tales while growing up. Whether it was exploring rivers or crafting in sketchbooks, creativity was always at the forefront.
