Drawing inspiration from nature’s intricate patterns, Nancy Seiler captures her visions using fluid acrylics and values the medium’s spontaneity. “I am inspired by colors and textures in nature, especially native plants and landscape. Working in fluid acrylics provides me with an element of spontaneity. I start painting on a wet canvas, pouring colors, letting the paint and water move and blend. I tilt the canvas to create more movement and continue to build up layers of color.
