The Professions Collection is inspired by the early days of advertising. Signs were so basic to display a boot, eye-glasses, a horse shoe as illiteracy was so common. As more learned to read, advertising became more suggestive. In 1911, a soap company used nudity in their advertisement. Ad agencies began to flourish and in 1945, graphic designers and the use of symbols entered the scene attracting larger clientele. This grew into the sophisticated signage market we see today.
